Contributions to the tribute of Wendy Lynne Glester

Wendy Glester was my teacher, my neighbor, and my coach. However, for me and for so many, she was so much more than that. She was like a mentor to me, through some of my toughest and most fundamental years. She was always there for me with tough love and reasoning. Ms. Glester made me endlessly write every single day in her class, which at the time, I took as punishment. Today (over ten years later), I have a bachelors in English and creative writing; something that I would have never achieved without Ms. Glester; but ultimately, something she inspired me to pursue. She saw my potential, she pushed me to be amazing, because she was amazing herself. I will never be able to repay her for how she has guided me and helped me. The world is truly losing a great one. She was one of the strongest, most independent, and most cultured woman I have ever known. There will never be anyone like Wendy Glester.
