Obituary of Lynda Fielding Abrams

Lynda Fielding Abrams, 76, a lifelong resident of Atlantic Highlands passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. Lynda was born on May 14, 1948 in Long Branch, NJ to Thelma and George Fielding. Lynda is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Rick T. Abrams, son Rick E. Abrams and his wife Erika Bozza of Navesink, NJ, son TJ of Houston, Missouri, sister Toddy Yereance of Senoia, Georgia, and brother, George Fielding and his wife, Betsy, of Cypress, Texas. She is predeceased by her brother-in-law, Drew Yereance. Lynda had a generous spirit and a kind heart. She was a gifted writer and was known for creating poems for loved ones to commemorate special occasions in their lives. Lynda owned and operated Tod-L-Lyn daycare in Atlantic Highlands for over 25 years with her sister, Toddy, until her retirement. She had a magical way with children and positively influenced the lives of many local families. Lynda will be greatly missed by her cherished grandchildren Cederic, Christian, Maximillian, Lucas, Benjamin, Braxton, and Estella Lyn. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Lynda’s honor be made directly to Alzheimer's New Jersey.
