Obituary of Eleanor Ann Tereshkovich

Eleanor Ann Tereshkovich (Pautz) age 87, a resident of Atlantic Highlands, NJ, passed away on September 27, 2023 after a months long illness. 

Born on July 25, 1936 in Nyack, NY, she later moved to Bronx, NY, with her family, where she attended Walton High School and later classes at Pace University in NYC. After her children were born, she and her husband decided to move the family to Leonardo, NJ where she spent over 40 years and met wonderful neighbors and friends. She loved her corner property and all the trees and land she had.

Eleanor worked as a Legal Assistant for most of her career in both NYC and several law firms in Monmouth County, NJ. Her favorite job was Secretary to the Principal of East Keansburg School, where she always said it was the most fulfilling job.

Eleanor was the most loving, caring and generous Mom and Mema. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, taking them to the movies, Keansburg Amusement Park and her favorite restaurants and ice cream parlors. She was an advocate of animals and loved her cats, most recently her cat Wally, who she described as her best friend. 

Eleanor is survived by her Daughter and Son-in-Law, Diane and Michael Bellinger of Raritan, NJ, her Son and Daughter-in-Law, William and Tara Tereshkovich of Aberdeen, NJ, her Cousin, Bruce Gathy of CT and four grandchildren, Mark Bellinger, Ryan Bellinger, Elaina Tereshkovich and Chris Kile and many friends that she loved like family. She is predeceased by her parents, Herman and Helen Pautz, her Brother, Roy Pautz and her Husband, William Tereshkovich.

Visitation will be on Monday, October 2, 2023 at All Saints Memorial Church, 202 Navesink Avenue, Atlantic Highlands, NJ starting at 12 noon. A full mass will be held at 2 pm at the Church.

In lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to All Saints Memorial Church, 202 Navesink Avenue, Atlantic Highlands, NJ in memory of Eleanor.
